Case Study #9 - IT Strategic Plan for Energy Retailer

IT Strategic Plan for Energy Retailer

Nick was engaged by a large energy retailer to develop an information technology strategic plan. The project extended over a period of three months using a custom version of the methodology that had been refined over many similar engagements. A series of interviews and workshops determined the business strategic intents, IT implications and response and finally the service delivery model required to deliver this long term plan and services to the business. The plan was insightful and detailed a three year strategy and program of work that would position IT as a strategic enabler and not a “black box” commodity internal service provider.
